The Alabama State Council on the Arts (ASCA) has awarded a music fellowship grant in the amount of $5,000 to Joseph Landers, assistant professor of music at the University of Montevallo.

Fellowship grants, the most prestigious of grants awarded by ASCA, are awarded to individual artists and arts administrators based on merit of work, career achievement, career potential and service to the state
