Funeral service for Allan Curtis “Big Al” Drake Jr., age 41, of Maylene, was held on July 16, 2008, at Rockco Funeral Home Chapel in Montevallo.
Darryl Nicholes officiated.
Burial followed at Nabors Cemetery in Calera. Visitation was July 16 from 10-11 a.m. at Rockco Funeral Home.
Mr. Drake, who passed away at his home on July 12, 2008, was a master plumber for SRC Construction. He was of Baptist faith.
He is survived by his wife, Kasey Blackmon of Maylene; son, Jordon “Tosh” Blackmon of Maylene; father, Allen C. Drake Sr.; in-laws, Sim and Lynday Blackmon; brother, Scott (Amy) Blackmon; sister, Kim (Kendall) Finley; nieces, Shelby Finley and Katlyn Blackmon; nephew, Trace Finley; and friends, Jim Short and Kenneth Morrison.
