Funeral service for Daniel Howard, age 73, of Ashland, was Tuesday, July 22, 2008, at 10 a.m. at Bolton-Letlow Chapel.
The Rev. Richard East officiated.
Burial followed at Pierce Memorial Cemetery. Visitation was Monday, July 21 at Bolton-Letlow Funeral Home from 6-8 p.m.
Mr. Howard passed away Saturday morning, July 19, 2008, at home with his family, ending a battle with cancer.
Mr. Howard was born October 11, 1934, in Shelby County.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Shirley Howard; his sister, Willie Lacey of Columbiana and five children, Danny (Debra), Patricia (John Hooks), Sidney (Ellen), Rickey (Tanya) and Michael (Barbara); 14 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.
