Funeral service for L.Z. Smith, age 90, of Ensley, formerly of Helena, was Saturday, Aug. 2, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, Helena.
Burial followed at Shelby Memory Gardens. Visitation was Friday, Aug. 1, from 6–8 p.m. at Bolton-Letlow Chapel, Columbiana.
Mrs. Smith, who passed away Tuesday, July 29, 2008, at her daughter’s home, was born on April 8, 1918 in Chilton County.
She is survived by her children, Leon Anderson, Wallace Sails, Rhonda Sunday; step-children, Ruth McCellan, Diane Jesse; 27 grandchildren; host of great grandchildren; sister, Josephine Colvin and a host of other family and friends.
