Funeral service for Amber Nicole Tate, age 20, of Jemison was held on Monday, Aug. 11, 2008 at 2 p.m. at Rockco Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Keith Edwards and the Rev. Terry Avery officiated. Burial followed at Old Rock Springs Cemetery.
Amber passed away on Aug. 9, 2008, in Birmingham after fighting a long battle with an illness.
Amber will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her father, Phillip Tate; mother, Debra Tate; sisters, Jamie Collins (Lee) and Christie Tate; brothers, Steve Tate (Donna) and Shannon Tate and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu on flowers donations can be made to Leukemia Society at Children’s Hospital.
