Reward now up to $30,000

The reward for information leading to the capture and conviction of those responsible for killing five men in Inverness is now up to $30,000.

Gov. Bob Riley’s office offered a $10,000 reward Friday. The Shelby County Sheriff’s Office has added $5,000 and the U.S. Marshals another $15,000 over the weekend.

Five Hispanic men were discovered Wednesday at Cahaba Lakes apartments, off U.S. 280. The men had their throats slashed and some were bound by adhesive.
