Charles Dahlberg

Charles Orin “Charlie” Dahlberg, born in Wisconsin June 28, 1927, passed away Thursday, Aug. 28, 2008, in the comfort of his Montevallo home.
Charlie was son to the late Mr. Worthy and Mrs. Hilda Groot Dahlberg and husband to the late Mrs. Shevie J. Dahlberg.
He served his country during WWII, Korean War and Vietnam War, retiring after 28 years of service from the United States Air Force.
Survivors of Charlie include his daughter, Debby Ann Davis of Harpersville; son, Terry Dahlberg of Orlando, Fla.; and daughter, Lisa Lea Dahlberg of Altamonte Springs, Fla.; sister, Betty Usleman (Don) of Cornadel Mar, Calif.; grandsons, James Tisdale of Davenport, Iowa and Timothy Graham of Council Bluffs, Iowa.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations may be made to the American Lung Association. Memorial services for Charlie were held Saturday, Aug. 30, 2008, at 11 a.m., at Charter Funeral Home.
The family received guest following the services. Arrangements were under the direction of Charter Funeral Home.
