Authorities have released the name of the last of five men killed last month in North Shelby.

Armando Ibarra Mendoza, 31, of Norcross, Ga. was identified through dental records, according to the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office.

Sheriff’s deputies found Mendoza and four other victims Aug. 20 at an apartment off U.S. 280. The men had been tortured, beaten, electrocuted and had their throats slashed.

Investigators think the men were killed over $400,000 in missing drug money.

Four suspects remain in the Shelby County Jail on capital murder chargers without bond. Sheriff’s deputies and other agents continue to search for witnesses.
