The Vincent High School Army JROTC recently gave out its first Cadet of the Month award. Cadet James Allen was the award recipient.

The award is given to cadets who are present at all uniform days and inspections, and also maintains a passing average in core classes. Award winners must also display leadership qualities and a positive attitude.

This is the first year the Vincent JROTC has given the award.
