University of Motnevallo women’s soccer senior goalkeeper Corey Gros of Victoria, British Columbia and junior midfielder Brittany Correia of Birmingham were named to the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District Teams by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA). Gros was named to the first team while Correia was named to the third team.

Gros, who was a first team selection, will move on to the national ballot for a chance at being named to the Academic All-America Team.

Gros has a 4.0 GPA and is a senior studying chemistry at Montevallo while Correia has a 3.80 GPA and studies mathematics.

This is the third-straight year that Gros has been named to the All-District team and second-straight year for Correia.
