Second-ranked Florida Southern College improved to 2-0 Saturday at the Disney Classic in Lake Buena Vista, Fla., with a 73-58 victory over the University of Montevallo.

Josh Thompson led the Florida Southern Moccasins with a double-double, 13 points and 14 rebounds, while Rob Eldridge led the Mocs in scoring with 18 points.

Terrill Humphrey led Montevallo with 17 points. Freddy Little followed with eight.

The Moccasins led 33-25 at halftime.

UM (0-2) closes the tournament Sunday at 4 p.m. against Lees-McRae College.
