More than 300 residents have signed up for Indian Springs Village’s new recycling program, which is expected to begin next year.

Last month, Mayor Steve Zerkis announced Waste Management, Inc., has agreed to provide residents with curbside collection of recyclables. Waste Management will distribute wheeled containers, and all recyclables may be tossed into those containers unsorted.

Zerkis said close to half the town’s population has signed up for the program, and he strongly encourages the remaining half to participate. The program will cost residents $5.06 per month.

To sign up, call 222-1079 or send an e-mail to recycleisv@yahoo.com.
