Louise Cuzzort

Funeral service for Louise Cuzzort, also known as Nanny and Our Sweet Little Momma, 80, of Pelham was Thursday, Dec. 4, 2008, at 11 a.m. at Bolton-Letlow Chapel. Burial followed at Oak Hill Cemetery in Oneonta.
Visitation was on Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2008, from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Cuzzort left this walk of life on Sunday, Nov. 30, 2008, at her home, was born April 25, 1928 in Shelby.
Mrs. Cuzzort served her community as PTA president and wife of Birmingham Police Officer William “Dad” Cuzzort.
She always sacrificed herself so others could have.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Bill Cuzzort; son, Al Cuzzort; mother, Mary Medlin; father, Clarence Patterson; sisters, Lenora, Margaret, Annie Marie and Irene.
Left a legacy of love and sacrifice for others to her children, Samuel (Iris) Sanford, Dennis (Anita) Sullivan, Marie (Scott) Cox, Linda (Danny) Coogan, Renee (Jurrien) Dykhouse, David (April) Cuzzort; her sisters, Frances, Betty Lou, Emmy, Emma, Mary Jane and Carlene, Della; step-sisters, Birdie Mae and Dean; brother, Franky; 18 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; and many loving relatives and friends.
