Shelby County Schools will delay the opening of school on Friday due to the threat of inclement weather.

According to Superintendent Randy Fuller, employees should report to work at 9 a.m. Classes will begin at 9:30 a.m.

Buses will run, but pick-up times will be delayed by an hour and a half. For example, a bus route that would normally pick up at 6:30 a.m. will pick up at 8 a.m.
