Pelham star Whitney Billings competed with the nation’s best high school volleyball players Sunday in the AVCA All-American match in Omaha, Neb.

She had two kills and four blocks for the Black team in the match, but came up on the losing end, as the Red team won 2-1.

Red took the first set in the best-of-three match, 25-21, before Black bounced back with a 25-15 win.

Billings was the only Alabama player on the All-America roster.
