Funeral service for Larry L. Martin, age 67, of Wilsonville, was held Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2009 at 11 a.m. at Bolton-Letlow Chapel with the Rev. Joe Coley officiating.
Visitation was Jan. 5 from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial followed at Pinelawn Gardens.
Mr. Martin, who passed away on Saturday, Jan. 3, 2009, at a local hospital, was born, Feb. 20, 1941, in Jefferson County.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Paul Martin and Wallace Martin.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Peggy Martin; two sons, Larry Stephen (April) Martin, and Michael Allen (Marie) Martin; one daughter, Jennifer Ann (Tim) Henry; six grandchildren, Dylan Martin, Dalton Martin, Sarah Henry, Ambry Martin, John Wesley Henry, and Anna Martin; three brothers, Arlee Martin, Glenn Martin, and David Martin; one sister, Dorothy Chambers; and a host of other family and friends.
