Hoover police are investigating a Thursday night robbery at Jim ‘N Nick’s BBQ and Catering off U.S. 280.

At about 10:40 p.m., a male suspect armed with a gun approached a female employee at the restaurant’s back door, took an undisclosed amount of money and fled on foot, said Hoover Police Capt. Jim Coker.

Jim ‘N Nick’s is located at 2831 Greystone Commercial Blvd.
