Robert William Vance

Mr. Vance, born in Alabama on March 5, 1950, passed away Sunday, Feb. 8, 2009, at the age of 58. He was a resident of Calera. He served his country in the Army during the Vietnam War. His career was in residential and commercial as a carpenter.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Combs; mother, Kathleen Mitchell of Calera; son, Jon Parker (Kelly) of Montevallo; sister, Shelia Garner (James) of Pelham; brothers, Paul Vance (Nelda) of Mobile, Henry Vance and Larry Vance both of Calera; grandsons, Will Parker and Jake Parker, both of Montevallo; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Arrangements were under the direction of Charter Funeral Home in Calera.
