A train cut a fiber optics wire Sunday night, disrupting Charter phone and cable for customers in West Shelby County.

The train pulled down the AT&T wires Sunday, stopping services in Pelham and Montevallo, according to a county employee.

The problem was fixed by 9 a.m. Monday, according to a Charter spokesman.
