Rhythm-and-blues singer and actress Brandy is scheduled to perform at the University of Montevallo’s Palmer Auditorium on April 16 at 8 p.m.

Tickets for the “Live with Brandy Concert” are $8 for UM students and faculty, $15 for non-students and $25 at the door. Tickets go on sale March 23. The University Program Council is the concert’s sponsor.

Brandy’s songbook includes “I Wanna Be Down,” “Sittin’ Up In My Room,” “Have You Ever?” and “The Boy Is Mine.” The Grammy Award winner also starred in her own television sitcom, “Moesha,” from 1996 to 2001.
