A woman who died early Wednesday in an apparent domestic dispute in Pelham has been identified as Wendy Louise Starnes, 33, of Montevallo.

Pelham police released Starnes’ name in a news release this afternoon. Officers discovered Starnes’ body after responding to a call at 3:22 a.m. in the 100 block of Oliver Street. An injured man was also found at the scene, but police have not positively identified him.

Pelham evidence technicians and the Alabama Department of Forensic Sciences are currently processing the scene.
