A woman is dead and a man injured after a dispute overnight in Pelham.

Police dispatchers received a call for help from the 100 block of Oliver Street at 3:22 a.m. When officers arrived, they found a female dead and a man with serious injuries, authorities said. The man was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

The names of the two individuals involved have not been released. The incident is being classified as a death investigation right now.

Early reports suggest a fight occurred between the man and woman, police said.

Pelham police said they would release more information this afternoon.
