Cahaba Valley Road has reopened after an accident Thursday afternoon.

The road was closed between Eagle Crest Drive and Broken Bow Drive after a truck carrying construction supplies overturned at 3:15 p.m.

Shelby County sheriff’s deputies and Alabama State Troopers worked the accident and the road opened around 4:30 p.m.
