Farm League – 6 and Under
The Dodgers claimed their first win of the season with an 18-12 victory over the Cardinals Saturday afternoon. Jackson Webster and Joshua Bass were the leading hitters for the Dodgers. Webster was 4-for-4 with three home runs and nine RBIs while Bass was 4-for-4 with three RBIs. Preston Royster added an RBI while going 4-for-5 at the plate.
The Orioles beat the White Sox 21-16 to remain undefeated on the season. Tyler Hardin had eight RBIs for the winning Orioles. Logan Shores had a home run and five RBIs while teaming up with Kole Britt for six defensive put outs in the field.
The Braves defeated the Tigers in a close one, 22-21. Jake Ritchie was 5-for-5 for the Tigers with four RBIs.
Farm League – 8 and Under
The White Sox defeated the Orioles 9-8. Christian Ferguson was 4-for-4 for the White Sox and had the game winning RBI. Will Neighbors was 3-for-3 for the Orioles and Allen Grayson was 2-for-2 with two runs scored.
The Braves (6-0) defeated the Rangers, 12-4, to remain undefeated on the season. Leading hitters for the Braves were Brodie Winks (4-for-4), Jacob Tinnell (3-for-3 and four RBIs), Mitchell Beck (3-for-3 and three RBIs), and Joel Sams with three hits.
Minor League – 10 and Under
The Dodgers defeated the Mets,11-9, to remain in first place in the Chelsea Minor League. Lee Rickard was the winning pitcher and Bryson Hardy was credited with the save. Ryan Eastman preserved the win with a game saving catch in the last inning.
Freshman League – 12 and Under
The Dodgers defeated the Yankees, 8-4, to keep their perfect season alive. Winning pitcher was David Mock while Ian Briggs was credited with the save in two innings of relief. Leading hitters for the Dodgers were Kaleb Appling and Ian Briggs, both going 2-for-3 at the plate.
