Funeral service for Jewel Crumpton, age 89, of Alabaster, will be at 11 a.m., Thursday, April 23, 2009, at Southside Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Shelby Memory Gardens. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.
Mrs. Crumpton, who passed away Monday, April 20, 2009, at a local nursing home, was born on July 28, 1919.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Chesteen Crumpton and a son, Ronnie Crumpton.
She is survived by her daughter, Billie (Irv) Zalcman; grandchildren, Kim (Kirk), Brian, Andrew; 2 great grandchildren and a host of family and friends.
