Dear Editor,

Our family wishes to express our thanks to the Alabaster Police Department for their amazing response to our family’s crisis when our daughter went missing this week.

We have never experienced anything of this nature and magnitude; they guided us and calmed us throughout the entire process.

They kept us posted continually, and showed great patience with our frayed nerves. In the end, they brought our teenage daughter safely home where she belongs.

Our gratitude goes out to the entire police force, but especially to Lt. Anthony and Det. Wooten under the leadership of Police Chief Stanley Oliver.

The citizens of Alabaster should be proud of the police force’s skill and expertise.

Speaking of citizens, thanks to all the churches in the area for the outpouring of prayer support, especially our home church, Kingwood Church. And most importantly, thanks to our Heavenly Father for bringing home our lost lamb.
