Marlins’ offense shines

For the second straight game of the second half of the season, the 6-under Chelsea Marlins demonstrated the strength of their bats in a 25-15 win over the Cardinals Tuesday.

Parker Szush led the Marlins with seven RBIs off 5-for-5 hitting, while Connor Ball drove in six runs with a 5-for-5 performance. Briggs Cude was 4-for-4 with an RBI. Logan Tinch and Justin Arney each drove in three runs, while Parker Martin knocked in two.

Defensively, Martin recorded some key put-outs, along with Ball and Maddox Davis. and Connor Ball.

In other Farm League games, the Chelsea Rays defeated the Dodgers, 18-16. The leading hitters for the Chelsea Rays were Brandon Roberts, who was 4-for-4 with one home run, Dalton Reames, 3-for-3 with one home run, Christian Kallaher was 3-for-3 and Matthew Horton was 3-for-4 with four force outs in the field.
