Funeral service for Roy Wood, age 82, of Harpersville, will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 20, 2009, at First Baptist Church of Harpersville with the Rev. Phil McMillian officiating. Burial will follow at Harpersville City Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, May 19, 2009, from 6-8 p.m. at the church.
Mr. Wood, who passed away Monday, May 18, 2009, at a local hospital, was born Oct. 9, 1926.
