Graveside service for Fannie L. Hancock, age 90, of Calera, was held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 26, 2009, at Shelby Memory Gardens with Bro. David Chaplain officiating. Visitation was held Monday, May 25, 2009, from 6-8 p.m. at Bolton Funeral Home.
Mrs. Hancock, who passed away Saturday, May 23, 2009, at her home, was born June 30, 1918, in Montevallo.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 63 years, Marvin E. “Bud” Hancock of Calera; her children, James R. (Elaine) Little of Pelham, Mary Ann Webb of Calera, Roy E. (Diane) Hancock of Columbiana, and Marvin L. (Barbara) Hancock of Birmingham; 9 grandchildren, James H. Little of Pelham, Stephen P. (Terri) Webb of Calera, James Randall (Linda) Webb of Waxahachie, Texas, Barbra (Peter) Evenbly of Ennis, Texas, Rebecca Bearden of Alabaster, Chris (Vanessa) Hancock of Hayden, Ala., Megan Hancock of Pell City, Ala., Daniel (Beverly) Hancock of Birmingham, and Tim Hancock of Trussville; 12 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.
