J.L. Brasher passed away to his heavenly home on June 6, 2009.
He was born on July 8, 1921.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Leona Brasher and a daughter, Floyce Boyd.
Family left behind, daughter, Frances Owens, brother, L.B. Brasher; grandchildren, Lisa (Roy) Daniel, Donna (Pal) Thompson, Kelli (Jay) Boozer; great grandchildren, Chad Christian, Jamey and Frankie Thompson, Brooke and Raegen Boozer and a host of other family and friends.
His funeral service will be 2 p.m., June 9, 2009 at Pelham Church of God with burial at Oak Mountain Baptist Church Cemetery.
His visitation will be two hours prior to the service at the church.
