Big government needs some balance

Dear Editor,
We the people, in order to bring stability to our state, went to the streets and spent $20 on June 20.
This did help stir a little money back into the economy, and it was evident that many folks were out shopping.
One important thing to remember is that we can make a difference in our state affairs in this economy.
The one thing we do not need to forget, however, is what got us in this situation. We cannot have big government. The power should always remain in the people’s hands.
When it comes time for elections, remember to bring balance back to the system.
This is what our forefathers envisioned.
We as citizens must punish those who have put self-interest ahead of the interest of the people. We have become such a selfish, self-focused society. When people come together for the good of the nation as a whole, there will be harmony.
Ninety percent of our congress is re-elected due to an electoral system, designed to benefit incumbents. Be wise, educate yourselves and share your knowledge with others so we can win the battle for freedom and justice for all.
This is America! I am a proud American, and I believe in the democracy!
