Lillian Irene Glass Snipes, age 75, of Calera, AL, died, Monday, July 13, 2009. Visitation was held on July 15, 2009 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral Services were held at 11:00 a.m. on July 16, 2009. Brother Bill Alexander officiated her services. Burial was in Salem Cemetery in Calera, Alabama.
Her grandson, her husband of 35 years, James Leonard Snipes Justin Aaron Snipes, great great granddaughter, Daisy Ann Stano and daughter-in-law, Brenda Snipes, preceded her in death. Survivors include, daughter, Terri Stano (Alan) of Montevallo, AL; sons, Barry W. Snipes of Calera, AL, J. Douglas Snipes (Tina) of Calera, AL, Roger Snipes of Brilliant, AL, and Michael Snipes (Wanda) of Jemison, AL; brothers, James Glass of Calera, AL and Gene Glass of LA; daughter-in-law, Janell Snipes Burts of Calera, AL, Janice Snipes of Calera, Al, and Debra Snipes Conley (Tommy) of Brilliant, AL; dear relative, Kevin Dennis of Calera, AL; and eleven grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and 31 nieces and nephews.
Arrangements were under the direction of Charter Funeral Home in Calera, Alabama.
