Pelham linebacker Jake Holland accepted an invitation July 31 to play in the Under Armour All-American Game in Orlando, Fla., Jan. 2.

“I’m really excited about it. I’m hoping I’ll be able to play. A starting position is my goal,” Holland said. “I’m just looking forward to going there for a week and going to Orlando for a chance to play against other top prospects in the nation.”

Holland is currently rated as a three-star recruit by Rivals.com and ranked No. 12 in Alabama. He committed to Auburn University in the spring.

During his junior season, Holland recorded 129 tackles, 14 for a loss and broke up 11 passes.
