Thank you for your article of July 29 concerning the mayor and city council taking “smart steps” in getting their city ready for the future.

This administration has taken a lot of criticism for their actions in this depressed economy.

You are right in applauding this administration in making smart decisions while interest rates and land prices are dropping.

Smart business decisions now will save the taxpayers money on the future developments of the city.
