Betty Edwards, Middle School Coordinator at Shelby County Schools in Columbiana, has been elected AASCD Director of the Council for Leaders in Alabama Schools (CLAS) Board of Directors.

CLAS is the statewide professional organization for school and school system administrators consisting of over 3,000 members. The AASCD is the professional association for Alabama’s administrators in the field of supervision and curriculum development.
