Funeral service for Norman Poe, Jr. “Tut”, age 49, of Cropwell, will be at 2 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 27, 2009, at New Life Assembly of God with Rev. David Wooten officiating. Burial will follow at Pinelawn Gardens.
Visitation will be from 12 p.m. until time of service.
Mr. Poe, who passed away on Sunday, Aug. 23, 2009, due to a car accident on his way to work, was born on February 13, 1960 in Tuscaloosa, AL.
He is survived by his wife, Christina Poe; children, Justin Poe, Jessica Poe, Mason Smith; parents, Norman and Patricia Poe; sisters, Sherry Yancey, Vanessa (Phillip) McKinney, Teresa (Chris) Cook; brothers, Michael Wayne Poe, Jason (Tonya) Poe; grandmother, Marie Burnett and a host of other nieces, nephews, family and friends.
