Montevallo defeats Beulah 35-12 on the road
Kevin Callender rushed for two touchdowns and passed for another as Montevallo picked up its first win of the season Friday night on the road at Beulah.
Callender opened the scoring with a 44-yard touchdown pass to Brandon Lilly in the first quarter. Jay Franks returned a fumble 36 yards for the Bulldogs’ second touchdown in the first quarter.
Callender scored on a 4-yard run in the second quarter and added a 1-yard touchdown run in the third quarter. Toney Kent capped the scoring for Montevallo with a 1-yard touchdown run.
