Ethan Caleb Black celebrated his first birthday on Aug. 6 with his train theme party at his home in Alabaster.

Ethan is the son of Jenny and Jerit Black and baby brother to Ava Black. Proud grandparents are Joyce and Larry Black of Calera and Linda and Steve Jordan of Hoover.

His favorite gifts were a big black box and a big black dog.
