Funeral service for Opal Wilder, 87, of Wilsonville was at 11 a.m., Friday, Sept. 18, 2009, at Fourmile Baptist Church. Burial followed in Fourmile Baptist Cemetery. Visitation was Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at Bolton Funeral Home.
Mrs. Wilder, who passed away Tuesday, Sept. 15, 2009, at her home, was born Dec. 11, 1921 in Winston County.
She was a loving and devoted mother and a member of Fourmile Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, Frank Wilder.
She is survived by her children, Kenneth (Martha) Wilder, Charlie (Linda) Wilder and Keith (Paula) Wilder; grandchildren, Scott (Renee’) Wilder, Rachel (Michael) Fox, Emery Wilder and Rebecca Wilder; step-grandchildren, Josh Hallford and Jennifer Hallford. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren, Stephen, Austin and Mollie Wilder, Regan, Natalie and Nathan Fox, Alexa Carlisle and Aubrey Evans and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
