Debra Pool Pearson, 48, of Shelby, is being held in the Shelby County Jail on $250,000 bond.
Shelby County Sheriff’s deputies and South Shelby Rescue personnel responded to a 9-1-1 call at 12:15 a.m. on Oct. 1 at a residence in the 200 block of Pool Road, Shelby. Upon arrival, they discovered the body of Carl Wade Pearson, 56, who had been shot. He was pronounced dead at the scene, said a press release from the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office.
