Funeral services for Preston “Bobby” Massey, 77, of Calera, will be at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Oct. 7, 2009, at Antioch Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Elliottsville Cemetery.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at Antioch Baptist Church.
Mr. Massey, who passed away Saturday, Oct. 3, 2009, at his home, was born Oct. 13, 1932 in Siluria.
He is preceded in death by his parents, J.B. and Eva Massey.
He is survived by his wife, Martha Jane Horton Massey; son, James Lee (Linda), Johnny (Roxanne), Billy (Michelle), Shoney (RaeAnn), Phillip; daughters, Betty Sue (Alvin), June (Keith) Bobbie (Robbie); 29 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; brother, Billy Massey; sister, Sylvia Underwood and a host of other nieces, nephews, family and friends.
