Vincent High School struggled to contain the Fultondale rushing game in a 28-6 loss on the road Oct. 9 to the Wildcats.

Fultondale rushed for 240 yards in the win, while Vincent could manage only 122 rushing yards. Ben McKinney caught a 54-yard pass from quarterback Michael Kelley in the second quarter for the Yellow Jackets’ only touchdown in the game.

Kelley completed 4-of-11 passes for 93 yards with one touchdown and an interception.

Vincent fell to 5-2 overall and 3-2 in Class 2A, Region 5 with the loss. The Yellow Jackets face Region 5 opponent Pickens County at home Oct. 9.
