St. Catherine’s in Chelsea plans to host a book series on “A People’s History of Christianity: The Other Side of the Story” by Diana Butler Bass on Wednesday evenings through Nov. 11.

The group will meet each Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. for sandwiches and discussion.

The outline of the course will be: Oct. 14 The Way -–Early Christianity, 100-500; Oct. 21 The Cathedral – Medieval Christianity, 500-1450; Oct. 28 The Word – Reformation Christianity, 1450-1650; Nov. 4 The Quest – Modern Christianity, 1650-1945; and finishing with Nov. 11 The River – Contemporary Christianity, 1945-now.
