Local jewelry store robbed; deputies searching for suspects

Staff at a local jewelry store underwent a harrowing experience during a robbery earlier today.

Anthony’s Jewelry and Pawn, located on U.S. 280 in North Shelby County, was robbed at about 2 p.m. Oct. 21, according to a press release from the sheriff’s office.

The suspects entered the store, produced a weapon and bound the employees and a customer during the robbery. The suspects then stole the customer’s vehicle.

The vehicle was located a short distance away from the store and is currently being processed for evidence. No injuries were reported to the employees or the customer.

The suspects are reported to be two Hispanic males and one Hispanic female. The investigation is ongoing.
