Edward Ellsworth Palmer, 64, of Montevallo, passed away Nov. 12, 2009 in Birmingham.
Funeral services were held Monday, Nov. 16, 2009 at 1 p.m. with Cookie Dunn officiating at Rockco Funeral Home Montevallo. Burial followed at 2 p.m. at the Alabama National Cemetery.
He was preceded in death by his father, Edmond Palmer and stepfather, Floyd Gene Lucas.
Edward is survived by his wife, Lillia Palmer; daughter, Cookie (James) Dunn of Thorsby; sons, John Palmer of Japan, Ed Palmer of Calera, and Butch Palmer of Calera; mother, Frances Lucas; five sisters; two brothers; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
