Hoover resident Benjamin W. Short was selected to attend this year’s Northwestern Mutual Forum, held Nov. 8-11, 2009, at The Phoenician in Scottsdale, Ariz. Short was invited to the forum in recognition of his outstanding year of performance, serving the needs of clients throughout the region.
He joins a small group of representatives from across the country who have qualified for this honor. Short is a representative with Northwestern Mutual Financial Network of Alabama, based in Hoover.
“Challenging times call for financial security strategies, and in Hoover, Benjamin led the way this year, helping hundreds of families protect what matters most,” said Northwestern Mutual Senior Vice President Todd M. Schoon.
The Northwestern Mutual Forum is an education and development symposium that focuses on industry issues and ways to enhance productivity for top producing Northwestern Mutual financial representatives.
Of the company’s 7,000 representatives, only 235 were eligible to attend this annual event. As a Forum participant, Short will receive specialized support services from the company’s corporate headquarters.
