Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. and a memorial service beginning at 6 p.m. for Jane J. Cox, 55, of Columbiana, on Saturday, Nov. 21, 2009, at Columbiana United Methodist Church. Burial will follow on Sunday with a graveside service at Guin City Cemetery in Guin, at 1 p.m.
Mrs. Cox, who passed away Wednesday, Nov. 18, 2009, at her home, was born Sept. 12, 1954, in Birmingham.
She was employed by the Shelby County Sheriffs Office, active member of Columbiana United Methodist Church, founder of KIMCO and active participant in Honduras mission trips.
She is survived by her husband Ronald Keith Cox; daughter, Allison Morgan Lacey (Fiance, Josh Brewer); sister, Kay Recile (George); sister-in-law, Kathy Jaffe; brother-in-law, Bob Cox; mother and father-in-law, Coy and Jean Cox; nieces, Ashley Morgan, Abbey & Hannah Jaffe; nephews, Bryan Recile, Noah Jaffe and other family and friends.
