The 2009 Alabama Independent Schools Association East all-star team will include seven Shelby County stars.

Cornerstone Christian School leads the way with five players named to the East all-star team, including running back LaDarius King, wide receiver J.V. McKinney, linebacker Patrick Shaw, lineman Trey Benson and lineman Colton Wingard. Coosa Valley Academy had two players chosen for the East all-star team, including unning back Ricky Ellison and lineman Bud Bliss were selected from Coosa Valley.

The AISA all-star game will be held Dec. 3 at Stanley Jensen Stadium in Prattville. Tickets are $7 for adults and $5 for students. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.
