Kit, age 43, born in Calera, resident of Carriere, Miss., passed away Tuesday, Dec. 1, 2009.
He was a loving husband, father, son and brother.
Kit was a member of Roseland Park Baptist Church. He was employed by Gibbs Construction in New Orleans, La., as a Project Superintendent.
Kit will be grieved and sorely missed by wife, Petrinia Hayes; sons, Jack Hayes and Dusty Hayes; daughters, Alyssa Hayes and HayLee Hayes; one grandson, Ben Hayes; brother, Eddie Hayes (Candi); sisters, Dana Byrd (Lance), Joy Hayes (Hugh Toney); nieces, Kasi and Shawna; nephews, Matt, Zane, Dakota, Beaux, Tyler and Gabe; great-niece, Madison; and a special aunt, Delia.
Memorial services will be held Sunday, Dec. 6, 2009 at 2 p.m. at Enon Baptist Church.
An account will be set up for Kit’s 8-year-old son, Jack Hayes.
