James Burns of Pelham has won free pizza for a year from Monnette’s Pizza Bistro of Birmingham.

Patrons of the new pizza bistro, located at the southwest corner of Valleydale Road and Alabama 31, had the chance to draw for one of more than 600 prizes offered just for storing Monnette’s phone number on their cell phone.

After more than 450 prizes had been drawn, James Burns, a resident of Pelham, drew the grand prize Dec. 1.

Other prizes still remain, including $100 in food for a free catered office luncheon, $100 in food for a free catered football party, 20-percent-off cards valid for one year, and free pastas, salads and lunches.
